Starting Out Again posted at 8:52 PM
Well, I recently started a new job working in a Marriott Hotel out here and I have to say; some colorful people visit here. I don't know if it is the human nature to be rude but most people are. I have always agreed that everyone needs to work in customer service for at least a few months. I think it would revolutionize how people treat one another.
Back in the day I worked in a Sonic Drive-In and I recalled, having been a manager, how often people would chew me out over simple things like onions. I understand when it comes to allergies, and I understand when you simply ask for it to not be on your food, but I don't understand why that leads to profanity and bad reviews. When the person is obviously trying to help you and isn't making it worse....I ranted just now. I apologize. lol
Anyway! Now that I have a new job I have loads more time to do loads more art? I've taken up writing a lot and I am thinking of trying my hand at freelance. I don't know how I will do with a controlled article though. I'm a fan of just winging it a lot.
ANYWAY! Design time!!
Let's buy cheap stuff and make it b-e-a-utiful! So excited. :D

I figure if I want to have an art blog I should post some of this art I keep thinking and talking about. I've currently started working in an older sketchbook:
I love using multimedia books because when I get sick of one media it just takes a turned page to start on another media.
I've been doing mostly water color and ink on a majority of the pages. :D Inspiration is hard for me to find though so for now I'm just trying to get back in the swing of it by drawing things around the house:
My rubber tree plant for instance! It looks sloppy and needs lots of work but it is a start!

I always struggle with the first post I put on a blog. I don't want to give up to much information yet I don't want to come across as such a mystery you think I could be a man. I'm a lady. A busty chubby lady with FAR to much time on her hands. I live in the good old state of Arkansas and am experiencing my 10th Fall here. Having moved around a lot in my childhood I find this to be quite an accomplishment! Yay!
I'm beginning a new journey trying to get back into art and I'm starting with watercolors. Also getting a degree in computer science...I'm a bit out there. Techy who loves art! Well, lets begin a wonderful journey!
